Bobcat Families and Friends, We Need Your Help!
This year has been unprecedented for all of us in many ways but thanks to the great support from you in 2019 and early 2020, the PTA was able to continue to financially support our planned school program throughout this school year.
Unfortunately, we weren't able to execute other activities we use to raise funds for these programs, such as the usual format of BooFest or the Move-a-thon, which had become a major enabler of financial support for following years programing.
In light of this, we're reaching out to you directly, as a previous supporter of the Blanton PTA, to ask for your support in raising funds we need now to close out 2020-2021 on a great note for our kids and secure the usual format of programming for the 2021-2022 school year.
To do this, we need to raise $12,000 to secure the following activities to close out this year and;
- 5th Grade Graduation - Our 5th graders have had far from a perfect final year at Blanton, we want to send them off to Middle School with a bang!!
- Education Intervention for Students in Need - Next year, more than ever, we will need to be able to support the children in our community to get them back on grade level in all core subjects.
- PTA Enrichment Programs - Such as Story Wranglers, PEAS, Club de Español, Garden Club, Run Club and so much more
*Anything raised over our goal will go towards campus improvements voted on by our membership. Anything from sports equipment to new basketball hoops!
*Every penny helps no donation is too small.*
Financial support is not the only way you can help contribute to the enrichment of our children's education. We need your help also to advocate to local government officials for greater funding for our schools, so we've set up a page below to help you understand how you can do this also.
