Creative Action

Creative Action uses the arts as a medium to inspire creativity, unlock potential, and transform the lives of students of all ages. The Creative Action After School program provides daily programming that uses arts-based curricula to explore social issues, build self-esteem, and enrich our students' academic experience in the school system.

Whether they are exploring diversity through mask and puppet making, creating short films on important issues, writing original performances about their own lives, or creating parades to let other students in their own school know what matters to them, Creative Action students learn how to think creatively, work as a team and believe in themselves.

Creative Action follows the AISD calendar and will be on site daily at Blanton Elementary through 6:00 PM. Each day, students have an opportunity to engage in snack time, outdoor/indoor play, homework time, and creative class time. Financial aid scholarships are available.

Serving: Kinder-5th grade!
