Families as Partners is an AISD initiative funded by the W. K. Kellogg Foundation with the goal of creating sustainable and effective school-family partnerships for academic success. Please join us to discuss how to utilize the funds provided by the foundation to ensure student success.
In the previous session, the following proposals were approved:
- Stem/Maker Space Initiative: $3,500: It was proposed by two staff members to create a maker space that Pre-K through 5th Grade (including Special Education) could access various STEM Activities.
- Health and Wellness: $600: It was proposed by a parent to partner with the school to provide information on diet, exercise, and mindfulness.

- SEL Support and Education for students and parents
- Inclusion of Special Education students
- Campus Beautification
