Volunteer at Blanton
All volunteers must register through APIE (Austin Partners in Education). Please visit their website to sign-up!
Volunteers are required to sign up every school year for each individual assignment they choose to participate in. This is done to ensure every volunteer or parent coming onto the campus has a valid background check. A background check is valid for 3 years. However, if a background check will expire during the duration of the school year, another background check must be performed. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe!

With great anticipation, we are launching the Blanton Buddies Volunteer Protocol! Blanton students’ family members and community members will now be able to volunteer at our school and work directly with students more easily. We have prepared a variety of available times and activities that teachers and staff members have preselected to make the process streamlined, simple, and effective. We are excited about the possibilities that this partnership might bring, from providing additional supports to students who are struggling to offering additional enrichment activities to students who are at or above grade level! If you have a regular schedule with some time that can be set aside during the school day, click below to find out how you can make a difference by working directly with our Blanton Bobcats!
